From November 21, 2022 till November 25, 2022, Rzeszów hosted a group of 12 students from Colegiul National "Carol I", Craiova, Romania as part of a partner exchange organized through the Erasmus + learning program for group activities, Project code: 2021-1-RO01 -KA121-SCH-000007185. They were high school students from the following classes: mathematics-computer science, bilingual English and bilingual French, natural sciences. The visit was aimed at fulfilling the following educational needs of the group of students:
- understanding cultural diversity, differences,
- elimination of discriminatory clichés,
- involvement in the life of society,
- knowledge of the mechanisms of active citizenship,
- social, civic, intercultural skills,
- innovative learning methods, practical nature of learning, through the connection of scientific contents with the concrete context of the environment,
- efficient learning through new technologies,
- critical thinking, autonomy, active involvement in learning,
- the exchange of practices and collaborative learning with young people from European countries,
- increased motivation for learning foreign languages as a means of access to knowledge in the international labour market,
- transdisciplinary approaches and project pedagogy elements,
- behaviours favouring the protection of the environment and sustainable social development.
On Thursday, November 24, students visited the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Rzeszow University of Technology and the laboratories of the Department of Complex Systems.
