The last stationary meeting of the InCyT project team was held on: 31.08-01.09.2023 at Fachhochschule Sankt Pölten in Austria. University of Applied Sciences in St. Pölten is an institution offering higher education in the areas of rail technology and mobility, health sciences, information technology and security, digital business and innovation, media and digital technologies, and social sciences. It educates about 3,700 students within various study and further education programs. Sankt Pölten is a district town in north-eastern Austria, the capital of the state of Lower Austria and the seat of the district of St. Pölten-Land. It is situated on the river Traisen (tributary of the Danube), about 60 km west of Vienna. It has 52 thousand inhabitants.
During the two-day working meeting, during debates, discussions and analyses, the scope of work done so far and the necessary steps to finalize the project were summarized. So far, the measurable effect of the cooperation is the development of a set of practical trainings for employees and managers of SMEs in the field of improving their competences in the area of cyber security. Currently, work is underway to transfer the prepared solutions to the qualifications framework for higher education.
The Department of Complex Systems of the University of Technology was represented by PhD, DSc, Eng. Dominik Strzałka, prof. PRz, project coordinator on the part of the Rzeszów University of Technology.
