On Wednesday, April 24, 2024, G2A Arena hosted a large group of guests and representatives of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship at the kick-off conference of the RaP STEAM project. The conference participants included numerous representatives of primary schools participating in the RaP STEAM project, authorities managing primary schools in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship, teachers from training institutions and organizations involved in the project.
The beneficiaries of the project are: Podkarpackie Voivodeship together with Partners: Rzeszów University of Technology, the Grodzisko Dolne Commune and the Provincial Cultural Center in Rzeszów.
The aim of the project is to increase the quality and effectiveness of the educational services offered in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship, aimed at developing primary school students' competences in the field of robotics and programming, which are important on the labor market, in the period from May 2023 to December 2029.
The Department of Complex Systems takes an active part in the implementation of the task related to the methodological and didactic support for IT lessons and extracurricular activities in educational robotics and robot programming in RaP STEAM. The conference was attended by: MSc. Paweł Kuraś, MSc.Eng. Patryk Organiściak, the lecture was delivered by prof. Dominik Strzałka.
