The January issue of Engineering Analysis with Boundary Elements contains the article entitled "Application of conformal mappings and the numerical analysis of conditioning of the matrices in Trefftz method for some boundary value problems". The paper is co-authored by M. Borkowski (Department of Complex Systems) and his former MSc student R. Kuras (currently - PhD student at The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics, Rzeszow University of Technology).
The paper presents the results of the application of conformal mappings for improving ill-conditioned matrices obtained in indirect Trefftz methods.
The article is a continuation of the study presented at The Joint International Conference on Trefftz Method VIII and Method of Fundamental Solutions IV held in Poznan (2017).
