The September issue of Engineering Analysis with Boundary Elements contains the article entitled "On rank-deficiency in direct Trefftz method for 2D Laplace problems". The aim of this paper is to contribute to a better understanding of the mathematical grounds of rank-deficiency occuring while solving BVP with direct Trefftz method.
The work is a result of cooperation between scientists from Rzeszów University of Technology (M. Borkowski) and University of Lisbon (I.M. Moldovan).
