On November 27, 2024, the Via Carpatia Network Conference, named after President Lech Kaczyński, took place in Białystok. This initiative unites three technical universities to foster the development of Eastern Poland. The event brought together representatives from academia and business, emphasizing the importance of collaboration in education, scientific research, and innovation. The conference was attended by Prof. Maria Mrówczyńska, Deputy Minister of Science, as well as the rectors of the three universities forming the Via Carpatia Network:
Prof. Marta Kosior-Kazberuk (Białystok University of Technology), Prof. Zbigniew Pater (Lublin University of Technology), and Prof. Piotr Koszelnik (Rzeszów University of Technology).
One of the participants was Krzysztof Demidowski, who presented the project "NAUCZAJKA – A Responsive Web Application Connecting Tutors with Students." The project received a grant in the "Via Express to Success" competition. During his brief presentation, Krzysztof Demidowski outlined the main goals of the project, which leverages modern technologies in education and highlights their potential in the teaching process.
His presentation provided an opportunity to showcase the innovative solutions developed within the project, which align with efforts to promote the use of technology in education.
