The article „Network Load Balancing for Edge-Cloud Continuum Ecosystems”, co-authored by Andrzej Paszkiewicz, PhD, and Marek Bolanowski, PhD, has been published in the Springer Lecture Notes in Electrical Engineering book series (LNEE, volume 894). The presentation covering the issues discussed in the paper was given by Andrzej Paszkiewicz, PhD, at the 3rd International Conference on Electrical and Electronics Engineering ICEEE 2022 (January 8-9, 2022).
This contribution concerns load balancing, based on mechanisms from complex systems theory dedicated to IoT solutions within the Edge-Cloud continuum. The basis of considered mechanisms is the betweenness analysis applied to distributed nodes in a wireless IoT network.
The paper, is the result of collaboration between Department of Complex Systems of Rzeszow University of Technology employees and researchers from the Systems Research Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences and Universitat Politècnica de València (Spain).
