During the international conference: "The 21st International Conference on Intelligent Software Methodologies, Tools, and Techniques SOMET 2022 (20-22.09.2022)" Kitakyushu, Japan, a paper entitled "Implementation of UI methods and UX in VR in case of 3D printer tutorials" was presented by Andrzej Paszkiewicz PhD, and Mateusz Salach MA.  The research results presented at the conference are the result of international collaboration. The research team consisted of Andrzej Paszkiewicz PhD, Marek Bolanowski PhD, Mateusz Salach MSc Eng. (Department of Complex Systems at the Rzeszów University of Technology), Prof. Grzegorz Budzik (Department of Machine Construction at the Rzeszów University of Technology), Hubert Wójcik Eng., (The Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Rzeszów University of Technology), Prof. Maria Ganzha, Prof. Marcin Paprzycki (Institute of Systems Research, Polish Academy of Sciences), as well as Fotios Konstantinidis MSc Eng. (Institute of Communication and Computer Systems, Athens, Greece) and Carlos E. Palau PhD (Communications Department, Universitat Politècnica de València, Spain).

The article refers to the implementation of UI and UX aspects as part of the new methodology of creating VR solutions for the needs of industry. As an example of the implementation of the new approach, the development of a course on the operation of a professional 3D printer was discussed.

The works were carried out, among others as part of the task No. 2 in the project financed by the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Poland within the “Regional Initiative of Excellence” program for years 2019–2022. Project number 027/RID/2018/19, amount granted 11 999 900 PLN.
