Each year, the IEEE congratulates Associate Editors for their contributions to the development of the IEEE Access journal and for helping the journal maintain high publication standards.
The criteria for receiving the title of Outstanding Associate Editor are being among the top 5% of IEEE Access Associate Editors, based on:
- the number of articles processed during the year in an accurate and rigorous manner,
- supporting the journal in maintaining an average time from submission to decision of 4 weeks,
- completing the required training for Associate Editors,
- going above and beyond their duties and assisting in plagiarism investigations,
- and demonstrating active participation and a good reputation within IEEE and IEEE Access.
This year, the award was presented to Prof. Dominik Strzałka from the Department of Complex Systems.
