On 28.02.2023 in room F.502, a seminar was held in the Department of Complex Systems, at which, in addition to organisational aspects, one of the research and teaching staff - Paweł Kuraś, M.Sc. - presented the topic of his planned doctoral thesis.
The planned aim of the dissertation will be to create an auxiliary algorithm using inconsistency reduction algorithms in pairwise comparison matrices to improve the efficiency of generating random pairwise comparison matrices with a given range of inconsistency coefficients, and to investigate its performance relative to traditional random matrix generation methods.
During the presentation, there was an opportunity to share insights and comments on both the topic of the planned PhD and the way in which the topic was presented to the scientific community, which will allow the candidate to better prepare for the subsequent defence of his or her research thesis before a scientific college.
