As part of the cooperation between the Department of Complex Systems of the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the PRz and the Department of Regional Development of the Marshal's Office of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship on September 16, 2021, a seminar was held to present selected issues related to the applications of artificial intelligence and machine learning. The seminar was organized at the Department of Regional Development thanks to the invitation of director Paweł Wais. As part of the meeting, a speech entitled Selected issues and applications of artificial intelligence methods was presented jointly by PhD. DSc. Eng. Dominik Strzałka, Assoc. Prof. of PRz and PhD. Michał Piętal. The speech referred to the broad context of issues related to artificial intelligence and machine learning, their applications, projects carried by the Rzeszów University of Technology and the potential gained in these areas, as well as the authors' own experiences related to the R&D and commercial projects.
