The seventh edition of the European Coding Week starts on October 5th. Two weeks of celebrating the latest technologies await us across Poland and Europe!
European Coding Week is ...
a social event in which more than 70 countries have become involved so far, including Poland! Its mission is to expand programming skills both among people with extensive experience and computer novices. CodeWeek creates a series of events inspired by programming and new technologies.
Programming is the future!
Last year's CodeWeek edition was very popular! Over two weeks, over 5,000 events were organized by 1000 entities throughout the country. We are very proud of this result. We see, however, huge potential that still lies dormant in Poles - especially IT professionals!
Why is it worth getting involved in CodeWeek? Programming is a profession of the future - specialists and public opinion agree. The labor market is still experiencing significant deficits in the IT sector. We see a chance to change this state in taming and programming as many people as possible, especially the youngest. CodeWeek is a proposal to promote IT industry professions and a chance to share your specialist knowledge with beginners. Present the most interesting projects your company is working on! Show the world how evolving and challenging your work is!
Step by step
Your company may also be involved in organizing the CodeWeek 2019 event. There are no age or qualification restrictions. The event can take the form of discussions about the latest technologies, workshops for employees' children, playing with robots or a tournament of board logic games - these are just a few suggestions. The creativity of the originator is the limit!
The most important thing is to register your event at www.codeweek.eu/events. Thanks to this action, the initiative will be included in the event ranking and will be on the virtual map of the European Coding Week.
