Establishing a project consortium
At the headquarter of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship Marshal's Office, an agreement establishing a project consortium between: The Podkarpackie Voivodeship - the Subcarpathian Complex of Provincial Establishments in Rzeszów, the Voivodeship Cultural Center in Rzeszów, the Grodzisko Dolne Commune and the Rzeszów University of Technology was signed. The consortium was established for the project entitled: RaP STEAM – robotics and programming in primary schools in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship purpose. Project start date: May 2023, project end date: December 2029. The project received support as part of a competition organized by the Provincial Labor Office in Rzeszów, recruitment FEPK.07.10-IP.01-001/23, scope of intervention: the support for primary and secondary education (excluding infrastructure). The total amount of the project: 133 mln PLN.
About project
The aim of the project is to prepare technical and system solutions that improve the quality and effectiveness of educational services offered in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship for primary school students in the field of robotics and programming through:
- implementation of pedagogical innovation regarding teaching robotics and programming,
- providing substantive support for teachers,
- implementation of extracurricular activities in primary schools, classes 4-8, in the field of robotics and programming.
Department of Complex Systems participation
From Rzeszów University of Technology, the project will be done by a team of the Department of Complex Systems, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, PRz.
