On April 6, 2022, the building V of Rzeszów University of Technology hosted a conference celebrating the 25th anniversary of the "KOD" Students' Science Club. The event gathered many research groups from our University, as well as companies offering job opportunities and scientific internships for students.
One of the participants of the event was also “Something About IT Security”, a Science Club under the Department of Complex Systems. The members of the Club had prepared their stand, where they discussed the issues of online security, cyber-attacks and identity protection. Visitors were given brochures with tips on how to deal with disinformation and how to distinguish a troll or a bot. In addition, two members of the SAITS Science Club, Łukasz Sieracki and Jakub Pobuta, prepared a short lecture named "Action disinformation, or how to not get fooled on the Internet", which was presented by the former during the event.
