On early February this year, the first genome of the nCoV-2019 virus was released.  The ARCTIC network (consortium) established a very fast protocol (both laboratory and bioinformatics activities) which takes the sample and delivers the genome in ca. 8 hours.  This protocol can be - theoretically - used by us, as during the PCI grant, we also use Oxford Nanopore technology, to sequence novel bacterial genomes (ca. 5 Mb in length whilst nCoV-2019 has ca. 30Kb in length).  We also, have been building a bioinformatics server, which can handle and process such data as well.
